Palu a word in Chin language spoken in the hills of Western Myanmar, describes a bamboo straw used to drink traditional Khaung Yay (Chin Rice Wine), usually at special occasions such as weddings or cultural celebrations. This has been a Chin tradition for over hundreds of years.

Our Palu are handmade by local craftsmen with 100% natural whole bamboo stalks from Myanmar.

Cleaning and caring for your Palu is very easy!
Just rinse them out under tap water after everyday use or give them a scrub in warm soap water. You could even put them in the dishwasher.
Once a month or so just boil them in water for about 10 mins to disinfect them.
Always let your straw fully dry after washing, they dry very quickly!
Always store your straws in a well ventilated place.
