Pann Nann Ein, meaning ‘Creative Royal Home’, is a local foundation that helps people with physical and mental disabilities to achieve sustainable livelihoods. The organization works closely with its members to help them produce handmade products that truly reflect the uniqueness of Myanmar culture through the design and materials used. Now employing 24 people, all employees are guaranteed a fair price for their work which helps them continually improve their lives and their families. It also supports them to get the medical and physical support they require. They often meet twice a week to get their work and solve any technical problems and then can take their assignment home to work at their own pace.
Hnin Phyu Kaung, the co-founder of Pann Nann Ein, ensures that the needs of members and their families are taken into account, that they are supported, trained and feel nurtured. This is a responsibility that takes up much of her time but also remains a core ingredient to the success of PNE.

For the last 5 years, Pann Nann Ein has steadily grown and hopes in the future to spread to other parts of Myanmar reaching more people with disabilities.
