"Ka Thit" is inspired by the word of 'thatch", symbolizing the protective roof of a traditional home. It represents security and the strength of tradition, offering a sense of protection and a deep connection to heritage. 

The founder Winnie is working with the backstrap weavers from the Bago region and the Kayan weavers to create traditional Kayan patterns and renew the design "Ka Thit" as a standard shawl using cotton yarn.
