Youn Sone, which means ‘colorful’ in Burmese, is a social enterprise created in Myanmar with the support of Fondacio, a French organization that gives leadership training to local youth.
Created by women for women, Youn Sone was founded by an inspiring young woman named Naw Julia with the ambition of supporting marginalized youth, migrants, and especially women in need by producing and selling quality garments.
Youn Sone works closely with IDP camps in Kachin State in order to provide people living in precarious situations with an income.
