“Ta Lio” is a Kayan word meaning protection from serious danger.

Founder Winnie is collaborating with backstrap weavers from the Bago region and Kayan artisans to recreate traditional Kayan patterns. She is reviving the Ta Lio design as a standard shawl, woven with cotton yarn.
