The Third Story Project provides books about important topics in languages that local populations can understand. They are written and illustrated by Myanmar artists for Myanmar kids. A large selection of these books are on sale at Hla Day in both Burmese and English language.

Doh Eain (“Our Home”) is a social enterprise aimed at citizen-led heritage conservation and urban regeneration in Yangon. The organization is known for its work on preserving historical residential buildings but recently they took a step further to help re-energize public space downtown.
