Hla Day and local artisan Pau Son, have been featured in the June edition of Thai Sawasdee Magazine, the Thai Airways inflight magazine.
In an article discussing the booming upcycling movement in Asia, Peter Pau Son, one of the Yangon artisans we work closely with, was interviewed. Pau Son is quoted during a visit to Hla Day as saying that there is huge potential for this movement to flourish in Myanmar.
"The upcyclers of Asia are a determined bunch. If they have their way, our environment will get healthier by the year" affirms the writer. We couldn't agree more!
